Its aim is to support academic and professional educational institutions in the fields of economics, business and related disciplines. It encourages and supports institutions to commit to continuous improvement. It helps to improve the learning environment and career opportunities for students in economics.

IAABEP operates globally, although it is based in the United Kingdom. IAABEP’s main objective is to support universities and all continuing education institutions in their quality improvement efforts in the development and delivery of undergraduate degree programmes in economics, business, management and related fields.
