IAABEP has been working in the sector for nearly 30 years, setting standards, helping institutions to develop and providing a public assurance of quality.
IAABEP will ensure that the economics and business degree programmes delivered by IAABEP members are high quality and internationally recognised.

Its aim is to support academic and professional educational institutions in the fields of economics, business and related disciplines. It encourages and supports institutions to commit to continuous improvement. It helps to improve the learning environment and career opportunities for students in economics.

As an independent body charged with monitoring and advising on standards and quality in higher education, we aim to check that students seeking to gain a degree get the higher education experience to which they are entitled. We ensure that students are involved in all aspects of our work.
We also create international partnerships to enhance and promote the reputation of global higher education.
